The NEW Schavemaker Logistics & Transport in Germany

Already in 2018 the Schavemaker Logistics & Transport Group laid the foundation for further business development in Germany due to the acquisition of Jäger Transport GmbH. Now the time has come to present our company under a single brand in NRW as well.

Therefore we are pleased to inform you that the merger of Schavemaker Transport GmbH and Jäger Transport GmbH as the absorbing company was completed as of 01. January 2021. At the same time the company name has changed to Schavemaker Transport GmbH.

Based on this corporate legal streamlining, we will improve our performance and service quality furthermore. Business operations will continue as usual at our location in Bochum.

In addition, we have made an organizational separation of our strategic business units Transport and Logistics. This enables us to act even more agile and adapt our solutions to individual requirements. Core competencies of Schavemaker Logistics GmbH are tailored logistic services related to warehousing and warehouse management. Schavemaker Transport GmbH is our forwarding company focusing on European road and intermodal transportation.

Rail terminal

Schavemaker utilises the rail terminal in Kąty Wrocławskie, 10 km from the major city of Wrocław in Poland.

A two-year renovation plus investments in a crane and reach stackers was completed in September 2015, creating a state of the art terminal; the most modern inland terminal in Poland. This allowed us to process more trains and ensured plenty of opportunity for growth in numbers and destinations.
