Schavemaker utilises the rail terminal in Kąty Wrocławskie, 10 km from the major city of Wrocław in Poland.

A two-year renovation plus investments in a crane and reach stackers was completed in September 2015, creating a state of the art terminal; the most modern inland terminal in Poland. This allowed us to process more trains and ensured plenty of opportunity for growth in numbers and destinations.

Wrocław, Poland’s fourth but fastest-growing city, is located in the southwest of Poland in a highly strategic location; close to the Czech Republic (40 km from the border), 300 km from Prague and on the route to Slovakia. A number of crucial European transport routes converge here, such as the Paris, Munich and Madrid to Warsaw or Moscow lines. Wrocław is the fastest-growing region in Poland and boasts several production companies and distribution centres.

There are currently connections to Moerdijk, Gdańsk, London and Hamburg and we are part of the European Hupac network.
