Jan Schavemaker retires after 47 years

Jan Schavemaker says goodbye to his employer Schavemaker Logistics & Transport after more than 47 years to enjoy his well-deserved retirement.

First started in 1973 as a truck driver with his brother Henk at Schavemaker, then still in Assendelft. After several years of driving, he started as a planner. He then continued to grow as head planner at the Beverwijk office and managed a team of 6 people. Thanks to Jan’s knowledge and experience, in the years that followed, he made many new young colleagues their own in the profession of planning by coaching and guiding them.

As a highly valued colleague and person, we will miss Jan very much, would like to thank him for his passion and enthusiasm and wish him good luck and pleasure with his retirement.
